Our curriculum is characterised by a socio-politically critical, feminist and non-eurocentric approach. The central goal of our German Courses is the linguistic empowerment of the participants. For us this means a critical and deliberate appropriation and use of the dominant language.
Set against the background examining of the general living and working conditions of migrant women in Austria, the course participants engage in topics relevant to their own everyday lives. In this way, not only languages skills, but also political education is promoted in the German Courses. Thus, strategies of self-empowerment and participation are explored and created in a dialogical process.
